A Brief Pause on Book Requests
Hi everyone — a quick heads-up about one part of the platform.
We're temporarily pausing book and translation requests while we step back and rethink how the request process works. Our goal is to make requesting a textbook clearer, fairer, and more reliable — and to do that properly, we need to press pause on new requests for a little while.
What this means
- Requests are paused for now. The request form is temporarily unavailable, and the "Request a translation" option on book pages is on hold.
- Everything else is unchanged. The entire library stays free, and all other supporter perks — copying & downloading full transcripts, the private podcast feed, and unlimited offline downloads — remain fully active.
If you're a monthly supporter
Requests are one of the perks that come with a monthly donation, so we want to be upfront with you. If this pause is a significant inconvenience, you're welcome to change your tier or cancel anytime from the Support page — no penalty, and no hard feelings. You can always resubscribe once requests return.
When will requests come back?
We're actively working on the new and improved process, and we'll post here as soon as requests reopen. Thank you for your patience while we make this better for everyone.
