Support Last Minute Lecture
Last Minute Lecture now supports optional community contributions to help sustain hosting, transcripts, and future platform development while keeping access free.
Support Last Minute Lecture
Hello everyone — just a quick update on the platform.
From the beginning, the goal of Last Minute Lecture has been simple: make studying more accessible by providing free chapter-level audio summaries of college textbooks.
Over time, the platform has grown far beyond what we originally expected. Hosting audio, processing transcripts, storing content, and maintaining the website all come with real ongoing costs.
Until now, those costs have been covered directly by the team while continuing to build and expand the platform.
We’ve also had a number of students ask how they can support what we’re building.
Because of that, Last Minute Lecture now supports optional one-time and monthly contributions through a dedicated Support page.
Why we’re doing this
One of the biggest priorities for Last Minute Lecture is keeping access open.
We want students to be able to listen, search transcripts, and study without subscriptions or locked content.
Community support helps make that possible by giving the project a path to remain sustainable as the library continues growing.
Every contribution — whether one-time or ongoing — directly supports keeping the platform available and improving the experience over time.
What this means moving forward
Nothing about access is changing.
Textbooks already available will remain available, and our focus remains building tools that make studying easier: better transcripts, stronger search, improved listening experiences, and continued textbook coverage.
Support is completely optional.
If Last Minute Lecture has helped you and you’d ever like to support the project, you can now do so through the Support page.
Thank you for being apart of the Last Minute Lecture Family!
